Identified
Beginning at 12:30 PM PT on May 5, 2022 our engineers began investigating an issue where accounts created through Heroku were seeing Single Sender Verification enforced where it previously was not. Customers who are impacted by this issue will receive the following error when attempting to send "The from address does not match a verified Sender Identity. Mail cannot be sent until this error is resolved. Visit https://sendgrid.com/docs/for-developers/sending-email/sender-identity/ to see the Sender Identity requirements". At this moment, customers can workaround this error by setting up Domain Authentication for the sending domains. We have identified the cause of the issue and are working on a fix. We'll provide another update within an hour or as soon as more information becomes available.
